The U.S. Chamber’s first creative video leadership hire, serving from 2021-2023, in a new role as in-house executive producer (EP) with an objective to create an attainable North Star with a long-term strategy and vision for what video content could look like here, despite its challenges. This included high-level input on a year-long design rebrand, in collaboration with our external agency partner and internal Creative Director, while also raising the floor of overall level of video production through content and dozens of live events. While stakeholder goals centered around increasing policy awareness, I helped expand audience and cultivate new partnerships through video-led campaigns and editorial-style storytelling.
“While working with Marc at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce he consistently demonstrated a high-level of talent, strategy, vision, and leadership within the areas of video and content. He is a joy to work with and an exceptional partner.”
Responsibilities:
From ground zero, reimagine, facilitate, and help oversee creative and marketing for A/V production, special projects, vendors, and budget.
Assist in new rebrand’s implementation, execution, reinforcement, and communication to broader U.S. Chamber teams.
Served as a conduit between the events and comms teams, while working alongside in-house events + live broadcast teams on special projects.
Implement and execute on evolving goals and strategy, in addition to working directly with c-suite and executive leadership, plus the U.S. Chamber’s 501c3 (USCCF), while cultivating relationships with global teams, stakeholders, external production partners and freelancers.
Results:
Navigated the U.S. Chamber’s content through COVID-19 with virtual campaigns and video content for events and partnerships through platforms like Zoom, Streamyard, etc.
Built an organizational structure with publish guidelines for multiple YouTube channels (i.e., new playlists, etc.)
Tasked to create incremental goals that included an in-house infrastructure and hopeful team expansion to produce a variety of small, medium, and large-scale video projects (i.e., brand promos and animated explainers) involving important U.S. Chamber and business-related campaigns, topics, industries, initiatives, entrepreneurs, executives, and events.
